Cooking With Shanna

Please let me introduce you to one of my most favorite people in Utah. The name? Shanna. She is actually Katherine's cousin Branson's (Reed) girlfriend. Wow... that sounded more complicated than it was. I love love love her and one of my favorite things about her in addition to her rad personality is that she shares my affinity for baking, cooking, and cleaning. ( I know mom & dad...you are probably having a heart attack. I bet you guys never knew I would turn out so domestic!! ) So about every single one of my friends asked me to breakfast lunch or dinner last week and I was dreading going somewhere else when she asked me to go out to dinner so I instead told her I wanted to make something from scratch. Something I had never made before. I picked Lasagna and rolls. I really have to give her all the credit for the rolls but I did watch her make it while I got the meat ready for the lasagna. I also made a really yummy spinich salad with strawberries, cucumbers, red onion and a poppyseed dressing. Now that is what I call heaven!
